This is a quick post to show you my finished denim quilt top.
I really like the how this quilt is shaping up.
My dilemma is what to use as wadding in the quilt. I have plenty of cotton wadding here, but I worry that it will make the quilt very thick and heavy. Not so bad in use I suppose, but it will be a pain to quilt. Alternatively, I could use some nice quality flannelette. Does anyone have an opinion?

I have a denim quilt that my mum made me years ago. It is REALLY heavy, but has no wadding, just a flannel backing, which makes it warm and fluffy enough "as is". Go the flannel!
I recently was reading a Spanish blog and the girl only used polar fleece as her backings I forgot the name of the blog but I meant to ask if she washed her fabrics before piecing since the cotton fabrics shrink and the polar fleece doesn't, but maybe next time when I find her, and that was one of the reason why she used; because it wasn't heavy. Hope it helps somehow.
