I acquired a little vintage raglan t-shirt pattern from my mums sewing cupboard a while back, she had got it from her sister who had got it from her MIL, who bought it new! I am starting to think about some summer clothes for our upcoming WINTER BROOME Getaway! Perfect excuse to try out a pattern I reckon. I decided to use up some scrap stretch fabrics, which is why it has a robot panel in the front and a sort of kooky clashing yellow back. But I think it still works?? Its bright and fun anyway.
Very cute! And George makes a fantastic model. The yellow on the back gives it that fashionable retro look - so in lately! I haven't ever thought of using a different colour on the back - great idea to use up scraps.
I live in Perth, Western Australia, with my husband and 3 kids; Elizabeth, Matilda and George. I sew and knit a lot and in this blog I record my crafty adventures.
