This outfit is a quite special so I thought it deserved its very own blog entry! The first reason this outfit is so special is because the Sonny Bear fabric just makes my heart melt- so of course I am going to love whatever it gets made into. Just quietly, I think this fabric is enough of a reason to rush out and get pregnant just so I have a newborn to dress it in. The second reason its a little bit special is because the buyer wanted to use it as a "coming home from hospital" outfit but doesnt know whether the baby is a boy or a girl. This set, therefore, consists of a pair of pants from the "Adventures of Sonny Bear" fabric, two kimono tops and matching pair tin whistle boottee's. The 'girl' kimono top is made from a soft coral-pink flanelette, and the 'boy' top is from a dusty-blue flanellette. Both have Bias edging in the Sonny Bear fabric. The pants have a "tag" in the back waist made from sonny bear fabric, showing off a cute little bird (this is so sleep-dazed parents know which way the pants go on). Even the fabric on the cloth shoes have been carefully cut to show off some of the details in the fabric.

OMG Milly you have been so busy and so productive! Wow!
Ahem, if they bring home a girl, what I wonder will they do with the 'boy' outfit :D
I love all of the work you've shown over the last five posts. The dungarees are gorgeous, as is the aqua square necked pinnie.
Oh my snap machine arrived yesterday :) Very exciting :) :)
